Director, writer, editor and artist Alexander Cartio began his artistic journey as a musician at the age of 15 when he joined the renowned European boy band Caymen. After a few successful years of songwriting and performing with the band the young musician found his true gift in combining the art of music with film and creating music video’s.
He graduated from the Stockholm school of media and arts in 2001 with honors, specializing in directing and editing. Shortly after, Mr. Cartio found himself in the renowned music scene of Stockholm, directing videos for such popular European artists as Arash, Fuel, Velvet, Dabuzz, Cameron, Rebecca Zadig and others.
Later he moved to Los Angeles and established himself as an independent international director.
